Arash Bereliani, M.D. , F.A.C.C. is a specialist in cardiovascular diseases, internal medicine and health optimization. Dr. Bereliani received his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences in Chicago, where he was ranked number one in his graduating class (of 192 students) and received numerous awards and honors. These included being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society, a fraternity to which only the top 10% of medical students in the country are invited. Dr. Bereliani then went on to do his internal medicine residency at UCLA Medical Center, where his research centered on nuclear cardiology and cardiac imaging. Dr. Bereliani was nominated for and won the highly prestigious “Top Physician” award – given by the Consumers’ Research Council of America – for three consecutive years. He was the youngest physician to have won the award in cardiology.Dr. Bereliani started his cardiology practice at UCLA and after only a year of practice, was nominated for and won the highly prestigious “Top Physician” award – given by the Consumers’ Research Council of America – for three consecutive years. He was the youngest physician to have won the award in cardiology. He is a clinical instructor at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine. Shah. At Cedars-Sinai, Dr. Bereliani’s clinical and academic duties include teaching medical students, residents and fellows along with active research in cardiac imaging and nuclear cardiology.
