Dr. Cynthia L. Shughrue D.O., FACOFP is board certified in Family Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) and has specific interests in preventive medicine, non-surgical weight loss and aesthetic procedures. She has dedicated her practice to the promotion of wellness through prevention and proactive management of certain medical conditions.
Dr. Shughrue earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California San Diego. She received her medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medical and Biological Sciences in Kansas City Missouri in 1987. She earned her board certification in 1994. Dr. Shughrue also earned her medical licensure in Sao Paulo Brazil where she practiced concierge medicine for expatriates at the Albert Einstein Jewish Hospital. She is fluent in both English and Portuguese. Dr. Shughrue returned to Dallas in 2001 and has been acquiring additional training in the emerging field of aesthetic and preventive medicine.

I was late to my appointment and the office was able to still keep me on schedule. Dr. was fantastic and has a great bedside manner. Very good visit and will definately reccomend Dr. Shughrue to anyone looking for a GP doctor.
