I've known Dr. Senechek for over 15 years. He is an incredibly gifted physician. He has an uncanny knack of being able to condense complex concepts down to a level that seems intelligible to us laymen. His superlative academic record from MIT and Harvard certainly brings clarity to why he's such a brilliant practitioner. I love Dr. Senechek, his practice saved my life. Literally. But that's a story for another time.

Dr. Senechek is a phenominal doctor. He's very thorough with his diagnosis and he really takes the time to scentifically explain everything. His treatement program cured me. He's uber, uber intelligent, and very compassionate. He's been my doctor for 3 years now. When I first moved to San Francisco it was extremely difficult and frustrating to find a new physician who understands my needs and concerns. Then, a friend of mine referred me to Dr. Senechek to save me from the wacky or snooty doctors in the San Francisco.

Had to wait more than 40 minutes past my appointment time. Surgery was grubby, in need of renovation.

Dr. Senechek isn't the typical doctor to try and get you in and out as quickly as possible. He was very friendly, conversational, and full of good health and life advice. Very smart guy who obviously has lived a very impressive life. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a primary care doctor.

This doctor was over an hr late in his office to see me. I appointment was at 10 am. I got there at 945 to fill out paperwork. The doctor didn't arrive in the office until 11 am. I am a very healthy & active 25 yr old. I have a strict diet (eat only clean foods ie; veggies, chicken, fruits, oats, sweet potatoes, salads, cottage cheese etc) I exercise 6x a wk. Three days weight training/6 days running/cardio. I have been extremely bloated for a couple months now. I have no idea what's going on, but my stomach looks like I'm pregnant (I took 2 tests both were negative). I went to this doctor hoping to get answers. Instead, he was short with me. Made me feel rushes. He told me to do crunches. Anyone who knows anything about health & nutrition would know abs are made in the kitchen. I eat 95% clean. My exercise is 100% on. I can't believe how rude & unhelpful he was after I waited an hr to see him. What a waste of my time. He also boasted about his intelligence & ability to solve the most complicated health problems. He talked about how great of shape he was in & spoke of his fitness regiment. He mentioned he was in is mid 50s when he appeares to be in his 70s. He has bright red hair & eye brows that he clearly dyed himself. He looked unhealthy & ridiculous. Why would anyone take this guy seriously? Save your time & money. Go elsewhere.

The best doctor I have ever had. He's knowledgeable and conveys his information to help me make important decisions for my health. He cares and his systematic approach to solving a health problem is paramount. His down-to-earth approach is comforting. I suffered for many years with diverticulitis and dismissed by doctors as having just nervous bowel or IBS. His approach to my healthcare has helped me dramatically. After recent surgery and now recovering, I feel that I have made substantial life changing for the better. Many Thanks to Dr. Senecheck!

Gerald research all doctors in San Franscico thoroughly and went through several before finding Dr. S. He was a very proactive patient and his relationship with Dr. S is what fit. Gerald chose Dr. Senechek and I could see why. His bedside manner, vast knowledge, clear explanation, and superb professionalism gave comfort to all us going through such a horrible time. Dr. Senechek is GREAT! I had serve stomach pain and went to the ER twice in the span of 24 hours to have it treated spending no less than 14 hours total there..and they weren't able to figure out what was wrong. Dr. Senechek prescribed some meds that immediately fixed the problem. Thank YOU!

Doctor Senechek is brilliant! He knows his HIV/AIDS treatments, possible side effects, etc. He is incredibly patient, he is an excellent listener and answers all questions and concerns. He did not rush me. I am very grateful that he continues to practice.

I read some unflattering reviews about Dr. Senechek on Yelp, but in most the reviewer conceded the doctor knew medicine well. So, because it's more important to me that my doctor know medicine than be my buddy I gave Dr. Senechek a try. He was late to both my morning appointments and was clearly in a rush during my first visit. However, the doctor's bedside manner is pleasant and I really do believe that he cares for his patients. During my follow-up visit he sat down explained to me in detail all of the results and significance of my lab work - and he gave me a copy of the labs. No other doctor I've had before has done that. I would recommend Dr. Senechek to anyone whose principal concern is having a doctor who knows his stuff.

I just moved to the Bay Area and haven't had time to find a doctor by word of mouth, so I chose Dr. Senechek based largely the other reviews here. I'm glad I did. Dr. Senechek listened carefully as I described my symptoms, and he took the time to thoroughly explain his diagnosis and suggested treatment plan. His office manager, Mark, was extremely polite and put together my new patient file with a minimum of hassle and paperwork on my part. Highly recommended.
