In my opinion the human body is the most beautiful and sophisticated piece of machinery we know. Unfortunately it is often one of the most ignored subjects In or daily personal agendas. As any other complex machine our body requires regular maintenance And frequent care. Although not all chronic conditions are avoidable, with better care and education we can prevent many of the diseases that threaten our health. As physicians we are responsible to educate our patients and assist them to reach the healthy state they desire. The ultimate fix to our current over exhausted healthcare system is PREVENTION rather than intervention.
