As always, Dr. Crespin was patient,professional and willing to answer all my questions.

Has been my pcp and gastro doc for 10 years.

He is of course the best Dr. for either your stomach pains or if he is willing to take you on as your PCP. Bedside manner is wonderful, he listens , and I never feel rushed. Also, in my experience I feel that he truly remembers each of his patience, beyond just looking at a chart right before you enter. His reception staff is friendly and professional as well. In this day, I feel lucky to have such a person as my PCP.

Very good. Office staff were very professional. Once I had registered was seen pretty quickly. Dr Crespin took time to review my details. Very friendly and professional.

Incredible-I was deeply impressed. Perhaps one of the most personal and caring physicians I've ever met.

I have NO idea how/where these "Excellent" reviews came from for this doctor, but do NOT be fooled like I was. The office is outdated, there is no privacy (as you speak to the front desk, you are literally speaking to everyone in the office), there is no real set-up at this office. Even the examination room doubles as a file room. The bathroom doubles as storage. Just horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible! This is my second visit to Dr. Crespin. The first was for a Physical. My wait time was so long (25 mins) that he then "No longer had time to give me a full physical" which, in all honesty was fine by because I had to get back to work. He simply drew some blood and told me to make an appointment for the following week. When the results came in - then he would give me a full examination. I did so, and came in today for my results (and the remainder of my physical). The physical was BOTCHED! I've never felt more rushed in my life. I could have done that examination MYSELF! He barely looked at me, let alone examine me. My test results were lacking (I requested my yearly HIV & STD test - these results were no where to be found) The urine sample that was take was never used - under urine results, everything read "Test Not Performed". I'm sorry but what exactly was my money taken for? Everything I request is just ignored? Then when I try to call the office and speak to him directly, it is like trying to call and speak to the President himself. I could go on - but I'll stop here. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office and would recommend NO ONE to go there.

The man was highly professional and attentive even though he was fighting a cold. Personable, very frank and knowledgable. I'll be coming to see him again.

He was reluctant to really explain the nature of my symptoms and how the (very expensive) meds would alleviate them. He needed to look up the dosage on his computer, which I guess is a go od thing but I've never incurred a physician who didn't just know. Also weird that the office is tucked within a gated apartment community and my credit card was processed on an iphone.

He is very friendly, very good memory, takes time with his patients and he knows his specialty.

I have finally found a Gastroenterologist who takes extra care to follow up treatments in progress via e-mail. He also speaks simple language to understand what is going on and how to tackle health issues. Highly recommended.!

He was personable, efficient and down to earth. He spoke "doctor-ese" but then translated to english/ people-speak. Highly recommend him.

The layout of the practice is a bit odd since it's located in one or multiple apartments. The furniture is dated and the walls could use a new coat of paint. Having said that Dr. Crespin was very professional and absolutely friendly. Highly recommended.

I had an appointment at 8:00AM and Dr. Crespin didn't walk into the door until 8:45AM. Due to his lateness, he seemed to rush me out and wasn't thorough in his examination at all. This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a doctor in New York.

Dr. Crespin was very professional, yet understanding throughout the duration of my visit. He spent quite a bit of time with me addressing my history and symptoms with sensitivity and genuine concern. His administrative staff was also very welcoming. I would highly recommend seeing this doctor if you are suffering from anything GI related!

My overall experience after seeing Dr.Jeffrey Crespin was great. It felt good to walk into a tidy office with helpful staff. His receptionist confirmed my appointment with a phone call which showed me the importance they put on showing the patient they care. He also directed me to the doctors website where I was able to fill out all the new patient information before I arrived to his office, making the process a breeze. The doctor was very meticulous with everything and seemed to ask all the right questions regarding my health. He was able to instill a high level of confidence by showing that he is a master of his craft with superb bedside manner. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in, and felt an immediate level of trust. I would definitely see Dr.Crespin again and plan to.

Dr. Crespin was too involved with small talk. He kept asking me what school i went to. When checking my breathing, he just lifted up my shirt without telling me what he was doing first. I felt almost violated. The exam room was small and cramped, i could see people walking on the street right outside the window. The trash was overflowing. I was VERY uncomfortable. Also, the office looks like some shady, sketchy, black market office in a renovated apartment building. The waiting room clearly used to be a living room, the kitchen was the nurse's office. The receptionist was wearing jeans and Jordans. If I was more sick than just my cough, I would NEVER go to this office again.

I went to Dr.Crespin as a GI specialist. Now my primary physician has left the country and I decided to stay with Dr. Crespin as my primary. I feel very comfortable talking to him and the wait time is close to none.

I choose Dr. Crespin b/c of all the really good reviews here on ZocDoc but now I realize that ZocDoc prompts users for a review after the initial visit. Dr. Crespin was attentive during my first and only appointment. It was after, when he prescribed a medication which my pharmacy was having problems with when the issue occurred. For the next 4 days I called him -but never got through to him (I asked his answering service to please tell him to call my pharmacy to straighten out the issue). Day after day they assured me they were in contact with him, that he would call me back and/or he would resolve the problem. None of this happened, how difficult is it to make a phone call? After 4 days I found this type of behavior inexcusable and refuse to put my health in a professionals hands that cant be bothered.

Although Dr. Crespin was professional, he rarely returned my calls. I would leave several messages, but he would not call back. I could not get answers to my questions nor get help when I needed it. I stopped going to him.

I think he is a very knowledgeable doctor in his field. He does procedures and does not want you to be in any pain, he makes you feel safe and not afraid. I and anyone else is always afraid to be doing a procedure because you don't know what the outcome will be. He reassures you. I think he is also very smart and has insight on a lot of things.

I liked Dr. Crespin very much, he was very easy going and listened to what i had to say and he in turn was very knowledgeable about my ailment. He didn't try to push any prescriptions on me and gave me a manual option to try first to see if my syptoms cleared up before running expensive test/treatments on me. He also called to check up on me which very few doctors do and I appreciated it.

a supportive and informative first meeting

This was my first visit with Dr. Crespin, I went during my lunch break for a 12:30 sick appointment and I was in and out with antibiotics by 1:00pm. Dr. Crespin has great beadside manners and I felt very comfortable, which says a lot for someone who never goes to doctors!

Gastroenterologists are generally brilliant by default. That sort of goes without saying. What sets Dr. Crespin apart--and why I trust him implicitly--is because he is considerate, attentive and never condescends.

My visit was quick, I didn't have to wait too long or fill out too many papers. I promptly received doctor's consultation and appropriate medication.
