Board Certified Family Medicine physician, Karl F. Liebermann, D.O., attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine, and stayed in the state for residency, which he completed in 2005 at the Eastern Maine Medical Center. After this he completed a post-residency Fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Karl has been practicing in rural Maine since that time. Coming to Visions is a homecoming for him, as he was born and raised in Massachusetts.

Karl has had a deep interest in health, wellness, and nutrition since high school and college, during which time he was an active athlete. As an Osteopath, he has always been an advocate of Integrative Medicine. He developed a specific interest in Functional Medicine after applying the principles to his own health issues, and seeing positive results first-hand. Karl determined to deepen the application of Functional Medicine principles in his practice, and gravitated to Visions Medical for the opportunity to do so. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.

Karl offers primary care, Functional Medicine consultation, and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
