Dr. Friedman trained at Witwatersrand Medical School in South Africa and worked as the chief of a burn unit prior to moving to Dallas. He started his practice in Richardson in 1981. Dr. Friedman has extensive experience working in general medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN (he no longer delivers babies), dermatology, asthma/allergy and various other fields. His patients repeatedly comment about his humor and bedside manner and many of his patients have been with the practice for over 15 years.
Dr. Friedman's wife Lorene routinely helps out in the office and is certified to perform various cosmetic procedures. Dr. Friedman has three children all of which are also involved in the medical field (2 doctors, 1 dentist). In his free time Dr. Friedman enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, and training his two parrots to say various amusing phrases.
