Dr.shepard was excellent! As a new patient, and new resident, it can be hard to find the appropriate physician on short notice. He was extremely articulate so that I understood everything and could come to him with any concerns might have had about prescriptions. Highly recommend in my opinion!

Dr. Shephard is a very rude and inconsiderate doctor. His bedside manner is atrocious. They reported taking a temperature on me and one was not done. Very unsafe clinic. Very unprofessional conduct.

Probably I will not recommend anyone to have him as primary care physician.

I really enjoyed Dr. Shephard and his office staff. Everyone was very pleasant and professional....even though it was the day before Thanksgiving. Dr. Shepherd was very throrough and did not rush during the visit. Just know that the office only accepts cash for co pays!

Was hopeful after having no luck with DC doctors. Though I had to wait a while, it was worth it. Dr. Shepard was extremely friendly and straightforward, took his time with me, and apologized for the wait. His staff were friendly and helpful. So glad I found him!

This guy was such a jerk, he acted like he had just gotten in a fight with his wife or something, real edgy, and very unfriendly. DO NOT go see him.

After having great difficulty getting into see a primary care doctor after GWU ER visit, I found Dr. Shepard through ZocDoc. He is an excellent physician who was thorough, caring and had an exceptional bedside manner-- hard to find such a great Dr today. I highly recommend Dr. Shepard! In addition, his office was very efficient and I was seen within 5 minutes.

I think of Dr. Shepard as one of those last remaining good doctors before they broke the mold and made every intern into a PDA-carrying over-prescribing moron. He thoroughly listens, repeats, understands, and then comes up with novel suggestions on how to at least start to "cure what ails ya" -- and if it doesn't work, he always encourages you to come back so that he can modify the dosage or medication. He is open minded/friendly/and all around good doctor.

Dr. Shepard was really great, he took the time to listen to me and ask about the history of the issue I was there for, and I didn't feel like he was checking the clock or thinking about another patient.

First impression is that Doc Shepard is a good guy. Enjoyed mtg him for a very short visit. Went in for an eye infection. He diagnosed and provided medication. Everything I could have asked for. This was a first visit but so far, so good. Don't let the poor bedside manner of his office staff scare you away. No complaints.

Very nice guy. Seemed very forgetful; didn't write down instructions that he said he would and forgot to mark a certain lab test he said I needed performed.
