Dr. Walsh is board certified in Pediatrics and Newborn Intensive Care. He is a leader in the pediatric field and has been practicing medicine for nearly forty years. Dr. Walsh is fluent in Spanish and specializes in learning disabilities (diagnosis’ approved by local school districts), child obesity, allergies, weight loss, asthma, and herbal medicine. After medical school, he received his Pediatric Residency and Neonatal fellowship training at the University of California, Irvine (1975-1981). Dr. Walsh has also directed Pediatric Intensive Care hospital units in Fountain Valley and Long Beach, and Newborn Intensive Care units in Fountain Valley, Long Beach, and Anaheim.
